Instagram feed forces vertical video to be resized to a 5:4 aspect ratio, and that's why there are the black lines when uploading to it.
This even happens if you manually upload the video.
On their app, you can avoid the 5:4 aspect ratio by using the button located at the bottom left corner.
You can set your workflow to upload your content directly to a Google Drive or Dropbox folder, then manually upload the video to Instagram using the above icon to avoid resizing.
