New Features:

HeyGen Integration: Added support for HeyGen as a source for workflows, allowing users to pull AI Avatar videos generated in HeyGen directly into Repurpose workflows.
YouTube Shorts and Auto-Trim: Introduced a new option for auto-trimming videos to 1 minute or 3 minutes, providing more flexibility for YouTube Shorts content creation.

Improvements:

Enhanced AI Capabilities: Upgraded AI to provide more accurate and efficient responses for content creation and workflow automation.
Improved Security: Implemented stronger password requirements (minimum of 12 characters) and automatic logout from all active sessions when passwords are changed.

Auto publish schedules allows you to specify which days of the week and at what times you want your content to be automatically published to all your favourite social media platforms, without the need to login to Repurpose. Set it once and forget it.

Enjoy the convenience of auto publishing while maintaining full control over your content release schedule.

Imagine you want to automatically publish all your existing (and upcoming) TikTok videos to different platforms at specific times. For instance, to Facebook Reels between 9am and 11am, to YouTube Shorts between 10am and noon, to Instagram Reels between 11am and 1pm, and to X between 2pm and 5pm. You can now easily configure that inside of Repurpose.io with a few clicks.

Here's what you need to know:

all workflows can have auto publishing schedules.
1 video will be published within each time slot
each time slot must be at least 2 hours
you can add up to 5 time slots per day.

How To Repurpose Content to YouTube Shorts.

Requirements:

Your video must be square or vertical
Your video must be 180 seconds (3 minutes) or less.
Create a workflow in Repurpose and select "YouTube" as the destination and "Shorts" as the type.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO USING REPURPOSE

STEP 1 - Create your Repurpose.io account here: https://my.repurpose.io/signup

STEP 2 - Add your connections

When you add a connection, you are giving Repurpose access and permission to post on your behalf.

There are 2 types of connections:

Source: an account that allows Repurpose to pull your content from
Destination: an account that allows Repurpose to post to

You must have at least 1 Source and 1 Destination before you can create your first Workflow.

How to post your first comment automatically via Repurpose (same comment for all videos)

The following steps are meant to be used with AUTO workflows and time-slots from publishing schedule rules.
From inside the Workflow settings you can set a default text message that will be used as your first comment on each video that Repurpose publishes for you.

Open the workflow settings and scroll down to the bottom.
Enable "Automatically publish a custom comment for each video".
Inside the "Comment" box, leave your default message that Repurpose will use on each video automatically.
Save your settings.

How to post your first comment via manually via Repurpose (unique comment for each video)

What happens if I repost a video with copyrighted music to YouTube Shorts?

|| Any Short up to 60 seconds in duration - your YouTube account, reach, and monetization on that Short is not affected

||| Any Short between 61 seconds and 3 minutes in duration - if your Short has an active Content ID claim of any type, including manual claims, will be blocked globally on YouTube. The video will not be playable or recommended on YouTube, and will not be eligible for monetization. There are no penalties to your channel. You may remove the claimed content from your videos. If you believe the claim was made in error, you can file a dispute. Once the claim is resolved, your Short will be viewable and eligible for monetization. More details can be found here.

1) If you re-post a video with copyrighted music to YouTube shorts YouTube will give you a notice inside your YouTube account next to that video. The notice simply mentions that the music in that video is copyrighted.

2) The original creator of that audio is automatically credited on your video.
