Videos longer than 60 seconds and under 3 mins uploaded on Oct 15, 2024 and onwards may not appear in your YouTube Shorts section of your Channel page right away but they will eventually will be moved there by end of November 2024.
YouTube Shorts longer than 60 seconds and under 3 mins, should start to be recommended in the Shorts feed starting around Oct 28th, 2024.

Your video must be square or vertical
Your video must be 180 seconds (3 minutes) or less.
Create a workflow in Repurpose and select "YouTube" as the destination and "Shorts" as the type.

Visit your Workflow settings (cog icon)
Scroll to the bottom and set the "Select Preferred YouTube Shorts Duration" to either 60 seconds or 3 mins
Auto trimming the ends of longer videos - when your workflow is in "auto" you can enable the "auto trim" option inside your Workflow Settings (cog icon) if you videos to automatically be trimmed to fit the desired length (60 seconds or 3 mins based on your settings)
When manually publishing or scheduling content from inside the "View Content" page of your workflow, a trimmer will appear forcing you to adjust the start time and end time of the video to fit the YouTube Shorts desired length (60 seconds or 3 mins based on your settings)
If your workflow is in "auto", any video longer than the YouTube Shorts desired length (60 seconds or 3 mins based on your settings) will be skipped.
If you want to force all videos to auto trim (trim the end of the video automatically to the desired YouTube length), you can enable the "auto trim" option inside your Workflow Settings (cog icon)
You can still manually publish or schedule the skipped videos from inside the View Content page by clicking the Schedule button. This will bring up a trimming tool to allow you to trim the video to the desired length for YouTube Shorts (60 seconds or 3 mins based on your settings)
Any Short up to 60 seconds in duration - your YouTube account, reach, and monetization on that Short is not affected
Any Short between 61 seconds and 3 minutes - if your Short has an active Content ID claim of any type, including manual claims, will be blocked globally on YouTube. The video will not be playable or recommended on YouTube, and will not be eligible for monetization. There are no penalties to your channel. You may remove the claimed content from your videos. If you believe the claim was made in error, you can file a dispute. Once the claim is resolved, your Short will be viewable and eligible for monetization. More details can be found here.

How To Repurpose Content to YouTube Shorts.
Requirements:
Your video must be square or vertical
Your video must be 180 seconds (3 minutes) or less.
Create a workflow in Repurpose and select "YouTube" as the destination and "Shorts" as the type.

Forcing your workflow to only upload 60 second (instead of 3 minute) videos to Shorts
Visit your Workflow settings (cog icon)
Scroll to the bottom and set the "Select Preferred YouTube Shorts Duration" to either 60 seconds or 3 mins
