In this video and article, I'm going to guide you through the process of:

Converting your audio podcast into video clips formatted for a square frame.
Scheduling these clips to be posted on LinkedIn.

Keep in mind that while we can't directly publish to your LinkedIn profile, we can schedule them to your LinkedIn company page and even automatically share them to your profile from there. If you don't have a LinkedIn company page, no worries—I'll show you how to create one quickly and easily.

Step 1: Set Up Connections

Go to the "Connections" page and ensure you have an audio podcast connection established. If you're new to this, select "Audio Podcast," add a name, and provide your podcast feed or Apple Podcast URL.
Next, add your LinkedIn connection. Click "LinkedIn," add a name (e.g., "Hani's LinkedIn"), and click "Connect." Follow the prompts to log in to your LinkedIn account.

Step 2: Create a Workflow

Navigate to the "Workflows" page and create a new workflow named "Podcast to LinkedIn." Specify that it will produce square snippets from your audio podcast.
Select "Convert Audio to Video" and switch from full episodes to snippets. Note that LinkedIn has a ten-minute snippet limit, but for better engagement, aim for around two minutes.
For the output, choose "LinkedIn." Keep in mind that currently, LinkedIn only allows uploads to company pages, not personal profiles. If you have multiple pages, select the desired one.
Click "Create."

Step 3: Customize Video Appearance

In the workflow, click "View Settings" and then "View Episodes." Here, snippets are automatically generated based on the timestamps entered in your podcast host when you uploaded the episode.
You can edit the start and end times of these snippets or create new clips altogether.
In the settings, ensure your progress bar is on. You can also change the video shape to square for a preview.
Various elements include a title, waveform, image, and sub-headline. Customize these elements to engage your audience effectively.

Step 4: Customize Default Sub-Headline and Intros/Outros (Optional)

Set a default sub-headline to be used in all videos, or customize it for each video.
While intro files aren't recommended for short clips, you can add outros. Ensure your outro video matches the final square format.

Step 5: Adjust Default Snippet Duration and Share to Personal Feed (Optional)

Consider setting the default snippet duration (e.g., two minutes or 120 seconds) for consistent content.
Optionally, enable the "Share video to my personal feed" option to automatically share videos from your company page to your personal LinkedIn connections.

Step 6: Save and Publish

Click "Save" to store your settings.
When ready, click "Publish." Modify the default description for each video, keeping it concise and including relevant hashtags.
Schedule the video for a future date and time, and repeat this process for additional clips to maintain a consistent posting schedule.

Creating a LinkedIn Company Page (if needed)

If you don't have a LinkedIn company page, visit linkedin.com, go to the "Work" category, and select "Create a Company Page." Answer a few questions about your business to complete the setup.

Alternative Upload Method (Optional)

If you prefer an alternative to uploading directly to your LinkedIn company page, consider creating a new workflow to send your podcast snippets to Dropbox in square format. You can then manually upload them to LinkedIn from there.

By following these steps, you'll efficiently convert your audio podcast into engaging video clips for LinkedIn, maximizing your content's reach and impact.
