Repurpose Integrates Directly with TikTok. Here’s an updated overview of the most frequently asked questions and troubleshooting tips to help you get the most out of the integration.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I publish directly to TikTok?

Yes! TikTok can now be used as a Destination to publish videos directly from Repurpose.

Can I use TikTok as a Source?

Absolutely. You can pull in your public TikTok videos and repurpose them across other platforms.

Is there a limit to how many videos I can post to TikTok via Repurpose?

Yes. TikTok supports videos up to 10 minutes long, with a limit of 20 uploads per day per account.

Does Repurpose remove the TikTok watermark?

Yes. Repurpose pulls the original version of the video before TikTok adds the watermark.

⚠️ If your video already had a watermark before being uploaded to TikTok, it can’t be removed, as it’s part of the original file. For best results, upload or create your videos without any watermark applied in advance.

How to Add a Second TikTok Account

Repurpose will recognize the TikTok account currently logged into the TikTok website when establishing the connection. To avoid linking the wrong account:

  • On the TikTok website, make sure to log in to the desired TikTok account beforehand.
  • Alternatively, you can log out of any active TikTok sessions to force a login prompt when connecting.
  • Or use an incognito browser window to ensure a clean login.

Once you're set, follow the steps in the How to Connect Your TikTok Account article to add your TikTok account.

How to Remove or Reset TikTok Permissions

To revoke access or reset permissions for your TikTok connection:

  1. Open the TikTok mobile app and go to your profile
  2. Tap the hamburger menu (top right) → Settings and privacySecurity and permissionsApps and services permissions
  3. Find the Repurpose integration, tap it, and select Remove access

To reauthorize and choose permissions again:

  1. Go to the Connections tab in Repurpose
  2. Click the three-dot menu next to your TikTok connection and select Reconnect
  3. A permission screen will appear — select the access you'd like to grant (we recommend allowing all), then click Confirm

Using TikTok only as a Source? You can stick with basic permissions:

  • Access your profile info
  • Read public videos
  • View analytics
  • Read your username

Videos Not Showing in Repurpose

If your TikTok videos aren’t appearing, check the following:

  1. Are videos uploaded to TikTok?

Make sure the account has existing content.

  1. Are the videos Public?

Repurpose can only access videos marked as Public. Private or “friends only” content won’t appear.

  1. Permissions Issue

If everything else looks good, it may be a permissions issue. Head to the Permissions section above to reauthorize access and ensure the correct permissions are granted.
