Error: 400 Session Invalid
If you receive a "400 Session Invalid" error when trying to connect your Instagram account, this typically indicates an issue with your account settings on Meta’s side — it's not something we can fix directly. However, here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:
1. Avoid Using a VPN
VPNs can interfere with the connection process. Make sure you’re not using one while trying to connect.
2. Enable “Future Activity off Meta Technologies”
Make sure the “Future activity off Meta technologies” setting is enabled on your Facebook account. Check this guide
3. Use Chrome Guest Mode
Open a Guest Profile in Google Chrome to ensure a clean browser session without extensions or saved cache. Click your profile icon in Chrome (top right) -> Select Guest -> Open Repurpose and log in -> Try connecting your Instagram account again.
4. Remove from Meta Account Center
Temporarily remove the IG account from Account Center entirely, then try reconnecting it to Repurpose without linking it again.
5. Check Account Health
Check if your Instagram account has any restrictions that may prevent linking: Check Instagram Account Status here (there shouldn’t be any restrictions at all).
