I’m seeing a “No pages found under your admin role, or you haven't authorized access” message when trying to create a workflow. What does that mean?
That message shows up for two reasons:

  • If you don’t have any business pages created or managed by your profile, you’ll see that message and won’t have any options to select. If that’s the case, this article can help you create a Facebook business page that works with Repurpose.
  • On the other hand, if you do have business pages and still see that message, it likely means the necessary permissions weren’t fully granted when the connection was added. If that’s the case, permissions can only be re-granted directly on the Facebook website, and you can follow the steps in this article.
  • If you've already verified that all permissions have been granted and still don't see any pages to select, it's very likely that the page you were expecting is actually a Facebook Profile, not a Facebook Business Page. This is a very common point of confusion because the two can look quite similar. Repurpose only supports Facebook Business Pages, even if a Profile page has Professional Mode enabled.

How to Remove or Edit Facebook Permissions from Your Account

To revoke access or permissions for your Facebook account:

  1. Make sure you're logged into the desired Facebook account and interacting as your Profile Page on the Facebook website (not a business page).
  2. Go to the Business Integrations page, or use this direct link: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools&ref=settings
  3. Find the Repurpose business integration in the list and click Remove.

To reauthorize and edit permissions:

  1. Go to the Business Integrations page, or use this direct link: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools&ref=settings
  2. Find the Repurpose business integration in the list and click View and Edit.
  3. Update the desired permissions in the pop-up window, then save your changes.

For more detailed instructions, please follow the steps outlined in this dedicated article: How to authorize a new or missing Facebook page?

How to Add a Second Facebook Account

Repurpose will recognize the Facebook account currently logged into the Facebook website when establishing the connection. To avoid linking the wrong account:

  • On the Facebook website, make sure to log in to the desired Facebook account beforehand.
  • Alternatively, you can log out of any active Facebook sessions to force a login prompt when connecting.
  • Or use an incognito browser window to ensure a clean login.

Once you're set, follow the steps in the How to Connect Your Facebook Account in Repurpose article to add your Facebook account.

How can I change or switch to a different Facebook account?

If you've already added the connection but it's not the one you want and you'd like to switch it:

  1. Go to the Connections page in Repurpose and remove the current connection by clicking the three-dot button next to it.
  2. Go to the official Facebook website and log out of your current session.
  3. Log into the Facebook account you actually want to use.
  4. Go back to Repurpose and add the connection again by following the steps in the How to Connect Your Facebook Account in Repurpose article. The account you just logged into will be recognized and used to set up the new connection.

As a pro tip, you can also open an incognito window and add the connection from there. This avoids automatic detection and prompts you to log into the Facebook account of your choice.

Important Facebook update

All videos uploaded to Facebook are now automatically categorized as Reels, regardless of their length. This means that whether you upload a short 90-second clip or a longer video up to 2 hours, it will be published as a Reel.

Because of this update, workflows that previously published to the “Feed” and those that publish to Reels now deliver content to the same destination.

Are there differences between Video and Reels workflows?

Yes, the main difference lies in the default duration limits:

  • Video workflows allow uploads of up to 2 hours by default
  • Reels workflows typically have a 90-second default limit

However, you can adjust the Reels workflow setting “Preferred Facebook Reels duration” to support videos up to 2 hours. This allows you to use a single Reels workflow to publish both short and long-form videos on Facebook.
