Sign up for free [here](https://my.repurpose.io/signup)! --- # FAQs __Can I publish directly to YouTube?__ Yes. YouTube can be used as a destination to publish videos directly from Repurpose as both videos and Shorts. __Can I use YouTube as a Source?__ Yes. You can use YouTube as a source on any paid plan. However, YouTube is not available as a source during the Free trial period. __Is there a limit to the length of videos I can post to YouTube through Repurpose?__ Yes. YouTube YouTube supports Regular Videos up to 12 hours and Shorts up to 3 minutes. __Can I add a YouTube channel with Manager access?__ No, YouTube channels cannot be connected using Manager access. Owner access is required. __Can I add a Custom Thumbnail or Cover to a YouTube Short video?__ No, YouTube doesn't allow custom thumbnails for Shorts. You can only select a frame from the video when uploading via the mobile app (this option is not available through third-party apps). __Can I label a video as AI-generated when uploading it to YouTube through Repurpose?__ No. At the moment, the option to label AI-generated content isn’t available, so this can’t be enabled when publishing through Repurpose. As an alternative, you can edit the video directly in YouTube Studio after it’s uploaded and select the altered content option there. __Does YouTube support uploading videos as drafts?__ No, YouTube as a destination does not support uploading videos as drafts. It supports uploading videos as public by default, as well as unlisted or private, and this can be adjusted in the workflow settings by modifying the Privacy field in the Advanced tab. ### Important Notes: * To publish videos longer than 15 minutes on YouTube, the account must be verified. You can verify your YouTube account here: https://www.youtube.com/verify * Having a Google account does not automatically mean you have a YouTube channel. You must first create a channel on the YouTube website. --- # YouTube Errors __Why am I seeing a "Limit Exceeded" error when publishing to YouTube?__ YouTube restricts how many videos you can upload within a short period of time, but these limits are not officially disclosed. If you’re uploading more than 20 videos in a row, you may start seeing issues. If this happens, wait a few hours and try again, or wait until the next day if the error continues. __Why am I seeing a "This Google account does not have a YouTube channel connected to it. Reconnect again and select another Google account" error when trying to connect my YouTube channel?__ If you’re seeing the "This Google account does not have a YouTube channel connected to it" error, it could be a few things: 1. Having a Google account doesn’t automatically create a YouTube channel—you’ll need to manually create one by logging into YouTube with your Google account. 2. If you already have a channel, make sure the Google account you're using has **owner** permissions. Only users with owner access can connect the channel—admin access alone won’t work. 3. Another common issue is not granting all the required permissions when connecting the account.
