# How to Reset or Change Your Password

# Reset Your Password

If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it by following these steps:

1. Go to the Repurpose Dashboard: https://my.repurpose.io/
2. Click Forgot Password?
3. Enter the email address associated with your Repurpose account.
4. Click Send.
5. You'll receive an email containing a temporary, auto-generated password.
6. Log in using the temporary password, then change it to a new password of your choice.

|| Note: If you don't receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.

# Change Your Current Password

If you're already logged in and know your current password:

1. Go to the Change Password page: https://my.repurpose.io/changepassword
2. Enter your current password.
3. Enter and confirm your new password.
4. Save your changes.

You'll receive a confirmation email once your password has been updated. If you don't see it after a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.

# Important: Accounts Using Google or Social Login

If you sign in using Google, or another social login provider, your account does not have a password that can be reset through the Forgot Password feature.

If you'd like to switch from Google (or another social login method) to signing in with an email address and password, resetting your password will not make that change.

In this case, please contact our Support team. A support agent will need to manually update your account so you can sign in using an email address and password going forward.
