# How to Connect Your Threads Account in Repurpose

### You can connect your Threads account in two ways:

* **Option 1:** While creating a workflow (recommended if you're setting up a workflow now)
* **Option 2:** From the **Connections** page (recommended if you're prepping accounts ahead of time)

### Option 1: Connect Threads During Workflow Creation

1. Go to the [**Workflows** page](https://my.repurpose.io/) and click **Create workflow** (left side dashboard).
2. Choose your workflow type (Repurpose New Content or Existing Content).
3. Select **Threads** as the destination (right-menu).
4. After selecting, two things can happen depending on your situation:
* If this is your **first time connecting a Threads account**, you’ll be redirected to Threads login page, or to the authorization page if you're already logged in to an account on the Threads website.
* If you’ve already connected Threads accounts to Repurpose, a pop-up will appear with a list of those accounts. Just click **Add new Threads account** to connect another one. You’ll be redirected to Threads login page, or to the authorization page if you're already logged in to an account on the Threads website.
5. Click **Continue** to complete the connection.

### Option 2: Connect Threads from the Connections Page

1. Go to the [**Connections** page](https://my.repurpose.io/connection) from the left side menu.
2. Click **Add a New Connection** (top right).
3. Select **Threads** from the list.
4. After clicking **Connect**, two things can happen depending on your situation:
* If this is your **first time connecting a Threads account**, you’ll be redirected to Threads login page, or to the authorization page if you're already logged in to an account on the Threads website.
* If you’ve already connected Threads accounts to Repurpose, a pop-up will appear with a list of those accounts. Just click **Add new Threads account** to connect another one. You’ll be redirected to Threads login page, or to the authorization page if you're already logged in to an account on the Threads website.
5. Click **Continue** to complete the connection.

### **Troubleshooting**

If you encounter any errors or have trouble adding the connection, please try the following steps:

1. Open a new tab, go to the Threads website, and log out of any active sessions.
2. Log in to the Threads account you want to connect.
3. Return to Repurpose, navigate to the Connections tab in the left sidebar, and add a new Threads connection. A new tab will open, and since you’re already logged in, it will skip the login step and take you directly to the permissions authorization screen.
